The three-coordinate positioner ensures the movement of the cutting head in the horizontal plane (X coordinate and Y coordinate) of the desktop along the trajectory defined by the control program from the CNC system, and also performs vertical movement of the tool head (Z coordinate). Three-phase synchronous linear motors are used as feed drives in X and Y coordinates, and a servo drive is used in Z coordinates.

Structurally, the positioner is a frame on which a workbench and two linear motors of coordinate Y are mounted, on which the inductor carriage moves and a transverse beam with an electric motor of coordinate X is fixed. a box for collecting in the process of cutting small parts and slag formed during processing.
